Welcome to the blog for Michael Squellati- a space focused on important wellness issues like family, health, and philanthropy. If you would like to learn tips on how to manage work and family, how to get back into shape, or how to get started helping others, this is the blog for you.

When Michael Squellati is not in the office, he can be found doing his most important job – raising his three-year-old son. Michael Squellati is a family man. Michael’s parents have been married for 48 years and are a tremendous source of strength for him.  Michael understands that family is what matters most at the end of the day, so a good portion of this blog will focus on tips about family life from a father’s perspective.

Michael Squellati is also a man of his local community. He enjoys volunteering and donating to organizations like APCH, a safe haven that provides assistance to underprivileged youth locally in Los Angeles.  Michael also volunteers his time by coaching local AYSO teams.  Michael’s newest and most exciting endeavor is the creation of “DACTIVE”.  DACTIVE is a group of active local Dads who understand the importance of being present and involved in every part of their children’s lives starting with the first diaper change until the day they see them off to college.  A DACTIVE Dad’s goal is to help build a stable foundation for their kids to grow up happy, healthy, and confident.

Finally, Michael Squellati is an athlete. When he was 18 his CYSA (California Youth Soccer Association) team won the United States National Championship. Michael Squellati would then go on to play college soccer at the University of California at Santa Barbara where he was a four-year scholarship athlete. He was even selected to the Olympic development team.

Although Michael does not play soccer competitively anymore, his competitive spirit is still there. He recently ran the New York Marathon and his team won the Jimmy Stewart Relay Marathon. This blog will feature posts related to Michael’s athletic endeavors as well as ways to get back into shape and take your athletic performance to the next level.
